Who Are Service Six

Founded in 1979 Service Six is Northamptonshire’s leading community charity. We are a specialist provider of outcome based professional therapeutic support, diversionary and activity services for thousands of hard-to-reach disadvantaged children, young people, adults and families.

Over the last three years we have expanded across county boarders to Buckinghamshire, offering currently services from our Community Hub at Chapter House, Coffee Hall in Milton Keynes. We are delighted to add Leicestershire to our recent growth area, where we offer vital support services across the different communities.

We are a client led service with children and young people at the heart of everything we do. Our beneficiaries shape and evaluate our services through Co-Production, ensuring we meet their ever developing needs.

We have over 35 years experience of working with commissioners, funders and stakeholders to lead outcome-based contracts; ranging from multi-million pound programmes across the county, coordinating with national partner agencies; to smaller targeted projects such as Youth and Holiday Clubs.

We are an award winning agency holding the prestigious British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ‘accredited service’ status and conduct our work in accordance with the Charities Evaluation Service (CES) PQASSO continuous improvement model.

Service Six is a co-founder of the Positive Pathway Alliance (PPA), an ambitious cross-sector collaboration that aims to harness available assets, resources and expertise for the benefit of disadvantaged members of the community.
